An entrance gatepier and the projecting entrance porch between the Warden's House and the schoolroom attached to the Hungerford Almshouses on Pound Pill in Corsham. The carved coat of arms of the Hungerford family is set above the arched doorway.

Description

The almshouses, Warden's House and schoolroom were built in 1668 for Lady Margaret Hungerford of Corsham Court.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
