Description

The present Church of St James dates to the late fifteenth century and was extensively restored by the architectural partnership of George Phillips Manners and John Elkington Gill during 1847 and 1848.

Archival History

Previously held in the collection of the Courtauld Institute, reference number B.2279. This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
