Description

Wilton House was constructed in 1544 by the 1st Earl of Pembroke, and stands on the site of a former medieval nunnery.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project. The print was accessioned into the collection of the National Buildings Record on the 20th of October 1952.
