Description

The monument was erected by Lady Beauchamp for her husband after his death in 1632, and her remains were later also interred in the tomb. The photograph was taken in 1901 by J A Gotch, (1852-1942), architect and architectural historian, who had a special interest in Elizabethan and Jacobean architecture.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
