Handwritten notes on the reverse of the print show that the photograph was taken by a 'Mrs Brocklesby', who may have been working for the Hampshire Field Club (and Archaeological Society). Note: negatives not held.

This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
