The foundations of the Cathedral Church of St Mary at Salisbury were laid on the 25th of February 1220, and the Cathedral was completed in 1266.
This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project. The print was received from Leicester Museum on the 9th of February 1960.
