Description

The Cathedral Church of St Mary was begun in 1220 and completed in 1266. The Cloisters and Chapter House were added between c1270-1279.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project. Reverse of card mount is stamped 'Not to be reproduced without permission' and 'From the collection of G Granville Buckley', although this copyright has now expired.
