Description

The Cathedral Church of St Mary was begun in 1220 and completed in 1266. The Cloisters and Chapter House were added between c.1270-1279.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project. One of a number of prints donated to the NBR by donor J L Lovibond on the 12th of August 1942.
