Description

St Thomas's Church was founded in 1220. It was enlarged and rebuilt throughout the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, and the tower was added in 1400.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project. One of a number of prints donated to the NBR by donor J L Lovibond on the 12th of August 1942.
