The photographer has noted on the back of the print: 'The Law Courts, London. King's Bench Court 8. West side of the central hall. Iron grille to the gallery. Designed by Arthur Edmund Street.

He has also added underneath: 'George Edmund Street was the architect of the Law Courts'.
