Description

At the time of the air raid, the buildings on the left of the frame appear to be residential, whilst the properties on the right are a pet shop and the premises of 'Motor and General Engineers'. There is a sign attached to the railings in front of number 71, indicating that an air raid shelter was located there.

The buildings have since been demolished and the site now forms the west end of Brewers Street.

P. E. W. Street has produced this print by photographing the negative of a photograph taken by R Wills.
