Description

The building housed the press where 'Fugitive Pieces' and 'Hours of Idleness', Lord Byron's first volumes of poetry, were published in 1806-07. The reverse of the print describes the site as the Masonic Hall.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
