Description

The Temple of the Winds was a focus point within the 'pleasure ground' laid out by Capability Brown in the 18th century. The remains of this small classical temple were demolished in the mid 1930s when the houses of Temple Gardens were built.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
