The broad face of a carved Anglo Saxon cross-shaft from All Saints church

The top half of the shaft has three carved panels. The first has a six strand plait, the second two closed circuit loops. The third shows a quadruped facing right. Its head is canine and its tail curls forward over its back. Now in Conyers Chapel.
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
