Description

Angled view of two faces of the cross shaft. On the upper section of the left side there appear to be figures of a man and a woman. On the lower section are two figures facing each other. The right hand face is covered by a broad median incised six strand plait. The loose terminals at the top end in animal heads. Now in Conyers Chapel.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
