Description

Grange Court is a former market hall dating from 1633. In 1859, due to congestion, it was moved from its original site at the junction of Broad Street, High Street, Church Street and Draper's Lane to its present location. At this time it was converted from use as a residence before being taken over by the Council in the 1930s for civic use.
