Description

At the time the photograph was taken, the house was probably known as Chestnut House. It has since been restored and is now The Old Chestnut Tree Inn. An illustration made from the photograph was used in 'A History of the County of Worcestershire: vol 3', in the chapter on Fladbury.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
