This country house was originally built between 1695-9. Gutted by fire in 1927, its shell was rebuilt in 1938 and later demolished in 1957. The photograph forms part of plate 38 in 'An Inventory of the Historical Monuments in Herefordshire, Volume 2: East', published in 1932.
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
