Description

The house was designed by Sir Ernest Newton and dates from 1908. The photograph shows the house shortly after its construction and before landscaping has been completed in the garden. Two gardeners are also visible in the foreground.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
