Description

The winged bull is the symbol of St Luke the Evangelist.

The carving is one of a number located in the church. They are thought to be from the 14th or 15th century.

This print may be a copy of an original photograph.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
