Description

The Wash was also known as Wash House. It has now been converted into four flats and is known as Pentlands.

On the back of the mount is noted: 'The "Wash" West Coker. Nr Yeovil Somerset. Built by Robert Moore Esq about 1820'.

Archival History

This print was received from the Somerset County Museum on 2nd October 1962.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
