Description

Around the outside of the font is the inscription 'Hoc Fontis Sacro Peveunt Delicta Lavacro'.

On the back of the cardboard mount are two additional prints showing the ruins of a building at an unknown site.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was received by the National Buildings Record on 22nd June 1962.
