Description

Around the outside of the font is the inscription 'Hoc Fontis Sacro Peveunt Delicta Lavacro'.

On the back of the mount is a print showing the ruins of Raglan Castle in Monmouthshire.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was received by the National Buildings Record on 22nd June 1962.
