Description

The chancel arch is 12th century in date and is decorated with billet, chevron and dogtooth ornament on the nave side. The main shafts have slots at the base for a partition or screen and are topped by ionic capitals. The smaller side shafts are decorated with chevron and fishscale patterns.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
