Description

East Barsham Manor was built in the first half of the 16th century for Sir Henry Fermor. By the 1800s it had become ruinous but it was later restored in the early 20th century. It is thought that this photograph was taken prior to the first phase of the restoration in 1919.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
