Description

The photograph was taken from the east bank of the River Bure.

Horstead Mill, as it appears in this image, was built in the second half of the 18th century. It was destroyed by fire on 23rd January 1963.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
