Description

The large rood screen in Holy Trinity Church was built in the 16th century but now only survives in its lower section. Some of the panels that do survive are painted with scenes depicting the martyrdom of St William of Norwich, the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Circumcision, the Adoration of the Magi and the Presentation in the Temple.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
