Description

Erpingham Gate is opposite the west front of Norwich Cathedral and was built c1420. Like St Ethelbert's Gate to the south, it also underwent restorative work in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
