Pope's Head Yard was located on the west side of St Peter's Street, opposite the fish market. It was named after the Pope's Head public house and was demolished c1932 to make way for the new City Hall building .
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
The photograph was received by the National Buildings Record on 14th October 1941.
