According to the University of Aberdeen who hold the negative for this image, the photograph is listed in George Washington Wilson's 1896 catalogue and must, therefore, have been taken prior to this date.
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
