Description

The church was, from 1422 until 1748, actually two separate churches, with All Saints’ occupying the south nave and St Margaret’s the north. The church was damaged during an air raid in 1941 and was re-built between 1946 and 1950.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was transferred from the library of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1936.
