Description

The screen was created c1480 and runs across both aisles and the nave of the church. The panels on the middle third of the screen, dividing the nave from the chancel, are painted with figures representing the Apostles and were restored in 1874.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was transferred from the library of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1936.
