Description

The ruins of the main body of the church were destroyed by coastal erosion in 1919 and the remains of the tower was relocated to St James' Church, further inland.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was transferred from the library of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1936.
