The building is thought to have been originally constructed in the 17th century but it was converted from two cottages into a single dwelling in the early 20th century.
It was formerly the home of the artist Ernest Crofts (1847-1911).
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
