Description

The Ancient House is a 15th century timber-framed building located next to the south-west corner of the churchyard of St Peter and St Paul's Church. It is in the form of a hall block with a jettied cross wing and the north front and west gable are decorated with elaborate pargetting.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
