Description

St Andrew's Church was a medieval church, largely dating from 15th century. During the Civil War it was badly damaged and services were suspended. In the second half of the 17th century, the parishioners requested, and were granted, permission to build a smaller church, as the old was too large and expensive, and the present building was erected in 1672, within the ruins of the nave of the old church.

The print is cracked across the centre of the image.
