Description

The pair of lodge cottages, one situated either side of the gateway, were built c1841, probably by Anthony Salvin. They are both Grade II listed but are now listed separately as Front Lodge,161 Ipswich Road and Front Lodge, 162 Ipswich Road.

It is not known which of the two cottages is shown in this print.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
