Description

Only the top half of the brick dovecote is visible over the garden wall and gate.

This image is attached to the reverse of the mount for OP27847 which shows The Ancient House in Ipswich. It can be viewed on the England's Places website in box 2401, and is searchable under Dartford, Kent.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was transferred from the library of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1936.
