This gate was demolished in around 1860 and re-erected on Burnaby Road in the early 20th century. The original of this print was transferred from the library of the R.I.B.A. (Royal Institute of British Architects) in 1936, and was accessioned by the National Monuments Record on 15th July 1966.
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
