Description

This picture shows the Lion Gate in its original location on Lion Gate Street. The original of this print was transferred from the library of the R.I.B.A. (Royal Institute of British Architects) in 1936. It was accessioned by the National Monuments Record on 15th July 1966.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
