Description

The doorway is very similar to that in the south porch of the church. Both are crocketed ogee arches and are decorated with head and leaf carvings. The doorway of the south transept, however, is not flanked by empty statue niches, as the south porch one is, and the apex of the arch extends above the sill of the four-light window above.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
