The ogee-arch doorway of the early 15th century south porch at St Mary's Church

The porch doorway is very similar to that in the south transept of the church. Both are crocketed ogee arches and are decorated with head and leaf carvings. The doorway of the south transept, however, is not flanked by empty statue niches as the south porch one is, and the apex of the arch extends above the sill of the four-light window above.
