Description

The flying buttresses were added to the south transept in 1853 by E. W. Pugin, who had taken over the restoration of the church from his father, A. W. N. Pugin.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
