Description

In the 1860s, the architect G.E. Street was commissioned to restore the nave, aisles and tower of All Saints' Church, as well as rebuild the chancel.

His design for the new chancel, carried out in 1866, raised the roof above the level of the nave roof, altering the appearance of the whole church considerably.

Since this photograph was taken the south porch has also been rebuilt.
