Description

The north side of St James' Church was badly damaged by enemy action on 13th July 1943. It was restored by Sir Charles Nicholson in the early 1950s.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was received by the National Buildings Record on 11th February 1944.
