Description

The Chapel of the Resurrection, on the east side of the south transept, was built in 1920-21 as a war memorial to the men of Grimsby who fell in the First World War.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was received by the National Buildings Record on 11th February 1944.
