Description

The stone cross stands in front of 16 Main Street and was erected in 1910 to mark the site of a large elm tree, planted during the reign of William of Orange, which was blown down in high winds three years before.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
