Description

The mid to late 14th century tomb is without an effigy but, based on the shields carved on the canopy, it is thought that it may commemorate a member of the de la Pole family, possibly Sir Richard, who died in 1345.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
