Description

The back of the print identifies the tomb as the Michael de la Pole tomb in Holy Trinity Church. In the 'Buildings of England, Yorkshire: York and the East Riding', however, the tomb is identified as probably being that of Sir Richard de la Pole, who died in 1345.

The prints OP28961 and OP28964 also show the monument.
