Description

The Strong Tower is also known as Mervyn's Tower and is labelled at the bottom of the print as Mervyn's Bower.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was accessioned by the National Buildings Record on 19th October 1957.
